There’s way more to Katy Perry than just a super-tight Elmo shirt.

The “California Gurls” crooner brought her talents to Saturday Night Live again, this time trading in her guest-starring duties to become a certified host, spoofing the likes of Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch and Pippa Middleton along the way.

And she even made a few cracks about herself.

Khloé Kardashian Odom “Sad” But Staying Positive About Lamar’s Trade to Dallas Mavericks

December 12, 2011
By

Talk about a whirlwind.
Just days after Lamar Odom’s trade to the New Orleans Hornets was cancelled, the Los Angeles Lakers reportedly re-traded him, this time to the Dallas Mavericks.
So, how is his wife, Khloé Kardashian Odom, handling the news?
“‘For I know the plans I have for u,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper u and not to harm u, plans to give u hope and a future.” Jeremiah’,” Khloé tweeted upon hearing about the trade.
And then she went on to tell a follower regarding the trade, “we are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.”
Khloé continued to try to spread positivity on the social networking site in spite of the shakeup, later tweeting “Life is not always fair. Sometimes you get a splinter even sliding down a rainbow.” Such a cute quote…”
The E! reality starlet also told followers that “everything happens for a reason” and that she is “excited” about their upcoming move to Dallas.
So, far, Odom has yet to comment about his trade to the Mavericks, but he was obviously emotional when he called into ESPN Radio upon first hearing rumors that he would be traded to the Hornets.
“L.A. is home for me for more than one reason,” Odom said on the show. “If it does happen, you know what I’m saying, I had a great time. I got to play in front of [rabid Lakers fan Jack Nicholson], meet Denzel. I found my wife in L.A., my family. The team, I had a lot of pride playing for them.”

New Video: Ludacris – Bada Boom

November 25, 2011
By

Ludacris is making noise with his newest release titled “Bada Boom” which many are saying is directed at rappers Big Sean and Drake. However, I’m not so sure this is the case. Although Ludacris is definitely aiming his words at someone, I’m not sure the lyrics are for Big Sean and Drake.

If you ask me, I’m thinking that in general, Ludacris is just tired of hearing people badmouth his name especially when he has helped these people in one way or another in the past. I won’t be dropping any names as of yet of who I think Ludacris is aiming his lyrics at, but I can almost guarantee it’s someone he has helped in the past. It might be Chingy, it might be one of the dudes from Field Mob, it may even be a former employee, but mark my words, this ain’t for Big Sean or Drake.

Nevertheless, Ludacris dropped a video for his controversial joint and the video is just as controversial as the lyrics being said in the song. So check out the new video from Ludacris titled “Bada Boom” when you click on the “Read More” button below:

Don’t Ask Keri Hilson To Hold A Magazine With Beyonce On The Cover!

November 25, 2011
By

Don’t you dare ask Keri Hilson to hold a magazine with Beyonce or Jay Z on the cover because she will not do it!! And that’s exactly what happened to an innocent reporter for “Juicy” magazine as she asked Keri Hilson to do a drop for her while holding their newest magazine which featured Beyonce and Jay Z on the cover.

All of this went down during the red carpet for the “Soul Train Music Awards“. The funniest part about it was when the reporter passed the magazine to Keri Hilson. When Keri noticed who was on the cover it seemed like someone may have passed gas because her facial expression was priceless! Don’t believe me? Then check it out for yourselves when you click on the “Read More” button below:

Now why you wanna go and do that love huh? All I’m going to say is this is shadiness at it’s finest! What do you think? I’m listening!

T.I. Clears Up Incident With Diddy, Says There’s A Lot Of “Embellishment”

October 4, 2011

Tip explains that there’s no hard feelings over the incident that took place this past weekend and that he and Puff are like “brothers.”

After Diddy engaged in an altercation with a club patron this past weekend, T.I. is clearing up rumors that he yelled at Puff for his actions. Speaking with Wild Atlanta 105.7 & 96.7, Tip said that it’s all love and that there is no beef between the two.

“I’ve been seeing a lot of embellishment going on online,” he said. “First of all, me and Puff, we go way, way back. That’s like a brother to me. So whatever was said by me was said out of love. I made no attempt to belittle him or to check him. Puff’s a grown man, he do what he want to do. I just felt it was necessary for me to separate for myself from the situation that was going on, just so people knew that I wasn’t involved because of my personal circumstances. That’s the kind of activity that I can’t afford to engage in right now.”

The King of the South said that their relationship is too strong to be tested by the incident.

“We too big and we too strong in our relationship, it goes too deep for that. Of course, I offered my opinion in the process of me separating myself from the situation, but my opinion was offered out of love,” he continued. “People talking about we got into a physical altercation and I checked him and all. That wasn’t like that, nothing of the sort.”

Since then, he’s spoken with the Bad Boy mogul several times and that there are no residual hard feelings.

“We spoke that night, spoke the next day, spoke today. Me and Puff, we like brothers. We cool, we good. He one of the first people on his level to reach down to me when no one knew who T.I. was. So he was one of the first people to notice me and he’s always been very supportive and just an extreme example of how to get where I’m trying to be.”

Cheryl Burke: Rob Has ‘Lost a Lot of Weight’ from Dancing

October 4, 2011
By

Rob did a great job last week on Dancing with the Stars. He was really feeling the dance. I think it gave him some confidence with the judges. And he was really happy, especially when Carrie Ann told him he was better than his sister.

It’s just nice to hear positive feedback, especially for Rob. He does have his insecurities and he does have low self-confidence. I think it really pushed him to do even better this week.

Rob’s also become more and more competitive. No one wants to get a bad score on Monday night, and the only way to avoid that is to really work hard. He’s taken it seriously from the beginning, but I think now he wants to make sure he improves every week.
